Communication and Marketing with Internship

Program Description

Program Overview
Travel through some of the planet’s most spectacular scenery, immerse yourself in Kiwi culture, and see parts of New Zealand open only to locals, all while earning university credit over your summer break. The National Expedition and Internship will take you across the North and South Islands and place you in an internship where you’ll work on real world problems relevant to your degree.

The six week study abroad program includes a two week national expedition throughout new Zealand starting in May or June followed by a four week internship.

Communication and Marketing with Internship
Your expedition will take you across both islands to delve into how successful the brands and images of the tourism industry are at capturing the attention of people new to the country and culture. You will explore New Zealand’s largest cities, alpine towns and volcanoes, regions rich in Maori heritage, and the country’s geothermal playground. Your internship will take place in Wellington, a capital city renowned for its arts and culture. Host sites include a diverse collection of social service agencies, community justice organizations, governmental departments, and small businesses.
