Program Description

The Surrounding Area
Paris offers many opportunities for traveling around the country or elsewhere in Europe. Students are encouraged to plan short trips within France to better their French language skills and experience different aspects of French culture. Versailles and Giverny, where students can explore Marie Antoinette’s hamlet or Claude Monet’s garden, are both short train rides away. From Paris, further trips can include the South of France, the Alps, or Normandy. Students are also able to explore all that Europe has to offer. With Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Northern Africa nearby, students will have the opportunity to embrace a multitude of cultures.
