Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is one of Asia’s superior institutions of higher learning. Immerse yourself in the thriving metropolitan area of Hong Kong: Take a stroll down the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade or witness the breathtaking view of The Peak. The night life is additionally electric; the Sleepless City offers trendy bars, live entertainment, and even a midnight trek through the Bowen Road Fitness Trail. Though known for its bustling cityscapes, Hong Kong isn’t far from tranquil, mountainous paths, remote islands, and peaceful villages.
Hong Kong Baptist University brings a dual approach to their education, focusing on teaching and research. With state-of-the art facilities, halls, and living quarters, students can find a multitude of ways to enjoy themselves both on and off campus.

Over 30 courses are offered that that include multiple interdiscplinary subjects for students looking to get the most out of their experience. Subjects offered include business, communication, economics, English, film, finance, history, journalism, marketing, religion, science and sociology.
Students attending HKBU will stay in the 21 story Undergraduate Halls on campus amongst 800 shared rooms. Accommodations include air conditioning (controlled by each room individually), sheets, blankets, pillows, and internet.

This program is available as an Exchange:
- Exchange - This means you pay your regular tuition and fees to UNCW, and your room and board costs abroad.
There will be additional costs for international airfare, passport, visa, health insurance, and local transportation.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
Federal and state financial aid may be applied towards this program. Even if you are normally ineligible for financial aid, you should submit a financial aid application (FAFSA). You may find that you are eligible for additional funding.
