With the ancient city of Machu Picchu as the primary focus, the Spring Break immersion class examines the surrounding communities both past and present to contextualize, interpret and celebrate one of the foundational pillars of our continent. With first-hand experiences, acquiring or refining basic Spanish language skills, and learning fundamental attributes of intercultural communication, students will be exposed to a rich cultural and linguistic heritage.
From to the coast of Lima, to the ancient Incan capital city of Cusco and the captivating wonder of Machu Picchu as well as numerous fascinating and interactive stops in local communities, students will explore, hike, raft, feast and discover the magic of indigenous Peru.
Program Activities & Features
All tours included in the program: Lima, Nasca, Cusco, Machu Picchu including but not limited to Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambo Machay.

Federal and state financial aid may be applied towards this program. Even if you are normally ineligible for financial aid, you should submit a financial aid application (FAFSA). You may find that you are eligible for additional funding.
